Susan Wilmot is a Yorkshire-based artist. She takes inspiration from the world around her, both from the landscape of the Northeast and the domestic.

Work usually starts with outdoor drawings and oil sketches and she then develops these into fully worked oil paintings in her studio.

Still lifes make up a large part of her oeuvre: flowers, fruit and favourite objects make constant appearances in her compositions.

She has exhibited in local galleries and taken part in mixed shows both in London and Yorkshire.
